The group minicine? will host a screening of
“Salt Dreams” Wednesday (Oct. 1) at the Actors Café. “Salt Dreams” was made by Shreveport native J.T. Nesbitt. The documentary follows a New Orleans group determined to drive a Katrina-flooded car to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah and set a land speed record.
Nesbitt and the race team will be present at the screening, which begins at 8 p.m. Cost is $5. The movie will be followed by a performance from the band My Graveyard Jaw. The Actors Café is located at 1401 Fairfield Ave. in Shreveport.
