This is the first time in a long, long time that the show producers have delivered on a revitalized show. It plays really well to movie-lovers, on the one hand, and I think the casual viewer gets a little bit of infotainment with the behind-the-scenes award presentation style. Kind of like watching the DVD extras of the Oscars!
The pace is nice and fast. I am liking it.
ReplyDeleteOn the whole, the set and show has that "Old Hollywood" feel to it. I am especially liking the mini-sets for the categories.
