I'm going off subject, but this trailer makes me hopeful. Why? A studio's fantasy flick actually looks more like live action than CGI. Here's to hoping director Spike Jonze gets it right.

I am so incredibly excited about this movie. The trailer looks phenomenal! The shot where the little boy looks around the corner wearing his costume was enough to sell me on the whole idea. It seems so moody, but fantastical and fun. I can't wait.
The Wild Things are people in suits and the faces are CGI. Great marriage of opportunity to be realistic in a majorly over-computerized industry. I think this trailer has just the perfect blend of eclectic pitch and adventurous harmony. It actually reminds me of something Evan Falbaum would do. I can't wait.
Veteran TV and movie actor Pruitt Taylor Vince returns to the stage in the LSUS production "Burn This." Check out the audio slideshow.
Movies on Main Street
The Spring Theatre in Springhill offers residents one movie per week on its single screen. Talk about your nostalgia for a simpler era of movie-going. Check out the audio slideshow.
