This is also getting wonderful advance reviews. This one is definitely not cozy, and could be the nastiest noir novel I've ever written....
Correctly, it is Max Allan Collins' "A Matter of Principal," circa 1987.
"The Last Quarry" is a novelization drawn from the adapted screenplay, circa 2006.
