It's a cliche, I know, but I couldn't resist. After finishing a day's worth of interviews on "The Great Debaters" at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, I GPSed my way up to Sunset Boulevard to find an IN-N-OUT Burger.
Double-double with onions, baby! This guy sure know how to party in L.A. on a Saturday night.
Those interviews? I'll role them out Christmas week. Good stuff.
My piece on Gregory Kallenberg ran today, BTW.

they do awesome burgers and fries..too bad we cant get them here..its a must when you visit L.A.
Very true, I must say. My breath still reeks of the joys of grilled onions.
isn't that the best burger place you've ever been to?
It's one of the better fast food burger joints I've sampled, I'll give it that. Wouldn't say it's the best, because I'd hate to admit my life is all downhill from here.
Next stop -- Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf -- get the ice blended mocha or vanilla. Put's PJ's and Starbucks to shame.
Saw those but didn't have time to stop. Are they are good as Peet's in SF?
i was about to say try peet's if your ever in nor cal..i lived in berkeley and was addicted..oh how i miss my peet's!
Mmmm.....
Peet's....
And In & Out....
Remind me when blog reader appreciation week is again!!!!
chris-brad! Did you not get the invite? Blog readers partied with me in Beverly Hills over the weekend. All expenses paid.
It was kind of lame, unfortunately. All we did was dial up "Mr. Brooks" on PPV and make prank calls to Kevin Smith, who has no sense of humor.
Better you missed it, I must say. And to the 3,000 people who made the trip, I apologize. Next time, Disneyland.
Ice blended mocha or vanilla from Coffee Bean wins hands down. Also, gotta stop by Pinks and get a chili dog. Or, Nate n' Al's (next to Paramount Studios) for breakfast. You'll likely run into Larry King and a bunch of striking writers.
Oh, yeah... Bring back a "Writers on Strike" sign for your office.
It's official. tk|la is trying to off me by sending me on a calorie binge.
Now where is Pink's?
its near melrose and i believe la brea..cant miss it
That's the place -- La Brea near Melrose, west side of the street. You'll recognize it from the Volvo commercial where the young couple are racing to get there before it closes for the night.
If you get to Culver City (near Sony), we'll really screw up the diet: Get to Tito's Tacos on Washington Blvd, 1/2 block west of Sepulveda. Or, Jonnie's Pastrami on the other side of the Tito's parking lot. Both would complete the culinary experience of Los Angeles!

Hehehehe (but also a bit evil!). Don't be surprised when I show up to The Times with my packed bags one day!
