My Loving Husband -David John McDougall, III, a major figure in the Louisiana film industry, suddenly passed away on Friday, April 10th, 2009. He was a cinematographer, producer, director, and editor who loved filmmaking with a burning passion. John’s slate of work included commercials, music videos, feature films and documentaries. Serving as Producer and Director of Photography, one of his recent projects, Dirty Politics, is pending theatrical release. He was a beloved friend to everyone and mentor to many young filmmakers as the owner of Filmdesign Productions and LA Pro Space. Prior to his work in film industry he ran a successful design/advertising company and won numerous Addy Awards for his print media and commercial work.
We will be forever proud of his work and blessed we had the opportunity to share his life.
