Shreveport could be among the top cities for major feature film production if we could get rid of mayor Cedric Glover and his cronies at city hall who are willing to kill the film industry in Shreveport to further their political careers. Has anyone noticed the film industry stopped after the Josh Brolin abuse and arrest and we have had no major film come to Shreveport since???
New Orleans, Baton Rouge, & Lafayette are booming and having to turn away films while Shreveport is fighting an image problem due to mayor Cedric B. ButtHead" Glover.
The Josh Brolin arrest...for no legitimate reason...has greatly harmed our city image and noone has held mayor Glover accountable for his coverup. All of Louisiana is booming with film productions while Shreveport is struggling to keep low budget inde films.
Cedric Glover SUCKS!

Most of the film industry agrees. We can't wait for Mayor Cedric Glover's best friend city councilman Calvin Lester to go to jail for all his recent wrongdoing and malfeasance in office. Finally, the corrupt city council is under investigation. At least 3 city councilmen have a criminal record and we need to get rid of all these corrupt city leaders if we are going to clean up Shreveport. Its only a matter of time before Cedric Glover is exposed and forced out of office. Lets hope its before the film industry totally leaves Shreveport so we can save our film industry.
Then we may become #1 nationwide in independent films!

Well if you don't count NY (because that will ALWAYS be a top contender and usually it sits out similar lists alongside L.A.)- Shreveport is still number three. That doesn't mean I think we did everything we could to be higher on that list. The other LA has some work to do to contend with Michigan, Georgia, and even neighbor Mississippi.

Mayor Cedric Glover is more of a threat to the film industry in Shreveport than the hurricanes are to the film industry in New Orleans. He stood against the film industry to get future political votes from the Shreveport police. That sell out of the film industry is simply unacceptable. He is nasty.
We need the jobs, businesses, and the visibility the film industry brings to Shreveport, and all mayor Glover does is make Shreveport look like redneck city.

Someone needs to start a recall petition to get Glover out of office. Its the only way we will have a chance to keep the film industry coming to Shreveport.

Hey guys, I got an idea.
Since Millennium has cancelled their studio downtown, why don't we use the site to build a new jail for Cedric Glover and his city council. Its just a matter of time before Mayor Cedric Glover will be wearing an orange jumpsuit instead of a purple zoot suit!

Mayor Cedric Glover looks so at home when he's standing behind the big blue garbage can. Maybe he has finally found his purpose in life.

Commissioner of Sanitation for Shreveport? Then he could make the headlines of Sanitation Maker Magazine!

Millennium is very confident it will build its studio, and aims to begin construction in April.

A TMZ STORY CONCERNING A MOVIE AND ACTOR THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO FILM HERE LAST YR...Bruce Willis is being sued by a production company that claims the actor committed to a bargain-basement deal to direct a movie and then walked off the set, never to return.

Foresight Unlimited claims it inked a deal with Willis to direct a movie called "Three Stories about Joan," starring Owen Wilson and Camilla Belle (Joe Jonas' GF). Willis was supposed to get $196,404 to direct the flick, budgeted at $20 mil.

The lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, claims "Willis abruptly and without notice terminated his services as director for personal reasons and walked off the set." The suit doesn't get more specific.

The suit seeks more than $4 mil in damages.

Willis' legal pit bull, Marty Singer, tells us the suit is "absurd" and that the movie collapsed because the producers didn't have the money to pay anyone. Singer says the producers were required to salary money in an escrow account, but never did. He also says Willis will sue the producers for the fee they promised

Just another success story out of Shreveport. Would have, should have, could have, etc.
Nobody wants to risk their money on Shreveport after the Cedric Glover coverup for the police. Many locals are still in denial, but the fact is Mayor Glover ticked off a lot of movie professionals when he sold out the movie industry for political reasons. Call the city council and let them know we need the movie industry. We don't need a dishonest clown for mayor.
