John Goodman out of Malibu rehab center, says he will stay sober

MALIBU, Calif. (AP) - John Goodman has checked out of rehab after being treated for an undisclosed reason.

Entertainment Tonight reported on its Web site that the actor left Promises Treatment Center in Malibu.

It was unclear how long Goodman was in rehab, or when he was released.

The 55-year-old Goodman, a Metairie resident, is best known for playing Dan Conner on the hit sitcom "Roseanne" in the 1980s and '90s. His film credits include "The Big Lebowski," "The Flintstones" and "The Babe."
