I was VERY excited to see this movie ... not because of Miss Blonksy but because a majority of the film was shot at my alma mater, Byrd high school ... though some of the transitions of the film interrupted my excitement by reminding me it was made for TV movie (the zooms out and such) I liked that it wasn't as predictable as I thought it would be. Unfortunately I nevr saw the ending so I'm watching it AGAIN as I type this ... lol ... Needless to say it was exciting to see BYRD blazing all over the screen (although I have to say, I don't think our marching band is that big lol). Even though the movie was set in South Carolina, it my school and I hate to say it .. but I could readily identify (and name) some of those same "characters" in my graduating class. I'm glad Lifetime made it and showed that GOOD PEOPLE deserve happiness, no matter what they look like.

Also, plenty of ads for another Louisiana shot Lifetime movie, Racing for Time. Lifetime should just set up a Louisiana office.

I was an extra in this movie and obviously very excited to see it. I thought it was a pretty good movie overall. Some of the actors were not the best, but Nikii's performance was great. Overall, I'd give the movie a 3.5 out of 5
