Trailer: Locally filmed 'Beyond a Reasonable Doubt'

What do you think? As a source noted, it has The Shreve "all up in it." (Including our newspaper.) Coming Sept. 2009.

That actually looks good. Hope the trailer is not a "best of" montage.

I am really looking forward to seeing this movie. I think that it will promote Shreveport handsomely.

Trailer looks good!

Definite Shreveport presence. Pity its domestic release Sept. 11 is in limited markets.

How many times did they really need to show the girl running in the parking garage? Due to repetition, I felt like I saw all the action scenes in the film. If the movie isn't an action flick, concentrate on the drama. A trailer like "A Few Good Men" could have served as inspiration.

So many questions run through my head when watching this trailer. Why can we see camera crew and equipment in the car explosion shot? Why are there no extras in that scene? Why are the bus and the car the only two vehicles in sight? Will the courthouse in Shreveport become a recognizable set piece in cinema over the next few years? What town is this set in, because you can't deny the Shreveport skyline in a shot like the one in the trailer. Innumerable questions... but none of which make me want to see the film. This one's a "Watch Instantly" on Netflix for me.

i honestly can't see camera crew or their equipment at any points of explosion shots. i doubt camera crew here would make such a stupid mistake. and no one outside of shreveport would know shreveport skyline, so don't you worry about that.

It is a little disconserting to recognize so much of Shreveport. It was the same for me when I watched Mad Money. I couldn't stop thinking, "oh, they are on Fairfield. They are on the corner of Milam... etc" I can still suspend my disbelief, but it's a little more difficult.

I'm not sure if I'm sold on that trailer, though... It had the feel of one of those old trailers made for the VHS market - like the ones on the old tapes of Bird on a Wire or Ruthless People! Ha!
