Not exactly Louisiana related, but in Little Rock they had a film festival honoring none other than the "Hitchcock from Little Rock", Charles B. Pierce. As a little kid, The Legend From Boggy Creek scared the ever loving you-know-what out of me. That, and being a MST3K fan, makes me pretty fond of Mr. Pierce. I'm glad to see him being recognized.

Oh my goodness, I love Charles Pierce. "The Town That Dreaded Sundown"? That film created the modern horror genre as we know it. His legacy is so interesting. I've been searching for some of his other films, including a zombie film he reportedly shot in Plain Dealing called ROADKILL. Bigmoneygrip, if you know anything about this film, please respond.

Nice, but I had to really search to find the showtimes. They show up if you click on the link to buy tickets. They should list them on the front page. I suspect that is what 90% of visitors to the site are looking for.

Hmm. Looks like their feed is broken. Showtimes were showing on the front page as of Friday. You can grab showtimes on our site by clicking here.

The site is having some technical difficulties but the showtimes are posted now on the front page. Websites and non-profits are a hard combo.

Thanks for fixing the showtimes. I've been to a couple of movies at RFC and eaten at the restaurant. It is a great asset to our community.
